For FD, 2024 has been another memorable year! It feels like only yesterday we were celebrating the start of 2024, but here we are, reflecting on an incredible year and preparing to welcome the next!

2024 Milestones‍

We are so proud to have achieved so many milestones in 2024 - it really has been a record-breaking year for our business: ‍‍‍‍

• ‍‍‍‍Websites: The web team set a new record for the number of websites launched – and as ever, all were custom-designed from the ground up. From sleek 5-page websites to large, CMS powered sites, the variety of sectors we worked with was more diverse than ever!  
• Marketing: The marketing team had their busiest year yet! Social media management and advertising have experienced significant growth – which is exactly what we had set out to achieve in 2024. A standout project was our work with Soul Spa, where the team created bespoke content for their social ads. The ads not only exceeded expectations but also showcased just how impactful tailored, creative content can be.‍
• Customer Service: We also managed to surpass 100 five-star reviews on Google, something we are incredibly proud of and a real testament to the satisfaction of our clients and the service they receive from the FD team.

Time To Network

Whilst the big milestones make a huge difference to the business, the consistent, regular activities are still something we prioritise on a daily basis.

Networking remained a key focus throughout the year, with the FD team actively participating in networking events and building connections. Danny embraced a leadership role as Vice President of the BNI Top Table, as well as attending ESBOF meetings every other week. Zoe and Karen represented FD at numerous Eastbourne Chamber events while Heather also dipped her toes into the networking world, attending the Young Leaders event.

We were privileged to attend a range of fantastic events, from Airbourne to the Brighton and Hove Business show, the Eastbourne Business Awards and even exhibiting at the second Sussex based DigiFest.

New Service Launched

Just as it’s important to us to maintain exceptional existing services and meet new clients and connections, it’s also crucial to offer new services to support the needs of existing and new customers.

As 2024 drew to a close, we introduced an exciting new service: video content creation! Danny and Zoe have been busy behind the camera, creating engaging content for our clients, ranging from eye-catching reels for social media to polished corporate videos for websites. More information on this service will be released in 2025.

The FD Team

At the heart of FD, everything we do and the services we offer, is a hardworking, driven and connected team.

This year, we celebrated several well-deserved in-house promotions, a testament to the incredible growth and progress our team has made in their individual roles.

We also welcomed the newest member of the FD team, Scarlett, who joined the marketing team. With over 80 applications for the position, we couldn’t be happier to have found Scarlett who has already proven to be an invaluable addition to the FD family.

Ending on a High

2024 culminated in a very proud moment for FD at the Eastbourne Business Awards.

Being finalists in two categories in itself was an honour, but taking home the award for Digital Excellence was amazing. We couldn’t be happier to receive an award that acknowledges the hard work and dedication of our entire team.

We are so proud of both our clients and our own achievements in 2024, it has been an incredible and unforgettable year. Here’s to 2025 – we can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store!!!
